In our practice, clinical evaluations are performed only by fully licensed and certified speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists.
Speech-language and occupational therapy involve the assessment and diagnosis of a variety of disorders resulting from a variety of reasons (e.g strokes, brain injuries, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, etc.). Speech and occupational therapy require an extensive and thorough evaluation of areas of strength and areas of need using a dynamic approach with both standardized and non-standardized assessment tools in order to develop an individualized treatment plan.
